Responsible for serving as the Bank’s primary contact with the public; accepting deposits and making withdrawals for checking, savings and commercial accounts; transferring funds; selling cashier’s checks, travelers checks; cashing checks for customers and non-customers; answering questions regarding accounts; receiving loan payments; balancing cash drawer daily; and forwarding transactions to various other departments.
High School diploma or equivalent required; banking experience desired.
Skills should include:
- Personal computer and 10-key calculator.
- Good interpersonal, communication, and customer relations skills are essential.
- Mental concentration is necessary for tolerating frequent interruptions. Can be mentally and physically stressful, may require standing for long periods, but chairs are provided.
- Some lifting and carrying bags of coin/currency.
