FirstBank Southwest (FBSW) CEO, Andy Marshall, is joining the Texas Bankers Association (TBA) Board as the Chairman’s Discretionary Selection. This direct appointment was made by TBA’s CEO, Chris Furlow, and Chairman-elect, Chip Jenkins.
The TBA is a state organization based in Austin. Members represent the voice of the banking industry in Austin and Washington D.C. The TBA also provides multiple seminars, webinars and conferences for thousands of Texas bankers every year.
Andy Marshall is the CEO, President, and Director of FirstBank Southwest in Amarillo. Marshall earned a BS from the University of Maryland and MBA from the University of Mississippi. He is active in both community and industry activities and groups. Marshall is on the Board of the United Way of Amarillo and Canyon, Chairman of the Golden Spread Council’s Good Scout Luncheon, Chairman of the American Heart Association’s Heart Ball, and is on the Banking Advisory Council of Texas Tech’s Rawls Excellence in Banking Program. He is an active duty veteran of both the US Army and US Air Force.
