FirstBank Southwest (FBSW) is monitoring the evolving circumstances related to the Coronavirus (COVID-19).  We are monitoring daily updates from both the Centers for Disease Control and Preventions (CDC) and World Health Organization (WHO).  Additionally, we are gathering information from both state and local authorities and initiating proactive efforts to implement our plan for the proper stage of the emerging situation.  We have both a pandemic preparedness and response plan, as well as, a Senior Management Team and Pandemic Team focused on coronavirus activities to allow us to respond to the needs of our employees and customers.

To ensure that you are aware of our business continuity efforts and comfortable with our commitment to continue providing the services you depend on daily, we will provide ongoing updates as necessary.  Updates will be posted on our web-page found at

A number of procedures and options have been considered due to COVID-19 and will be implemented such as social distancing inside our bank facilities, as well as use of drive-in facilities where possible.  Supplies such as gloves, mask, Kleenex, disinfectants, and any other supplies will be provided as available.  We have already taken steps to clean more thoroughly than that which has been considered acceptable in the past.  Disinfectant wipes and hand sanitizer can be found throughout our facilities.  Customers also have the option of using our drive-in facilities to minimize exposure to others.

From a customer standpoint, we have several resources available to assist our customers in reducing their exposure to others by utilizing our online banking opportunities.  The bank has several products / applications which could limit a customer’s need to go into a public setting and bank from their home or office. You can access your accounts online at or on our FBSW Mobile App on your mobile device. If you haven’t enrolled in online access or have any questions, we would be happy to assist you.

While the actual impact of the COVID-19 is unknown at this time, we have proactively reviewed our business continuity plans and do not anticipate any scenario that would impede our ability to meet our business continuity obligations.
