PERRYTON, TX – FirstBank Southwest (“FBSW”) announced that Brady Yeary, FirstBank Southwest Market President in Perryton, will be retiring in April 2022. Brady has been dedicated to FBSW for 40 years and has helped mold this institution into the great Bank it is today. He will be sorely missed.
In 1982, Brady took a lending position with First National Bank of Perryton. By 1995, there were five individual banks owned by First National Bank of Perryton, and the banks were consolidated under the present name, FirstBank Southwest. Brady assumed his current position of President, FirstBank Southwest, Perryton in 1997, and has served on the Board of Directors since 2000. Brady will continue to serve on the Board of Directors following his retirement and will continue to be involved in the family farm and cattle operation.
Brady is a past Chairman of the Bankers Agricultural Credit Conference at Texas Tech University as well as the past Chairman of the North Panhandle Bankers Association. His other accomplishments include serving as the Perryton Lions Club President and has been a member of the Lions Club for over 40 years, served on the local Community Development Corporation board and the Perryton ISD school board, as well as many other organizations in Ochiltree County.
