AMARILLO, TX – FirstBank Southwest (“FBSW”) announced the appointment of Greg Graham as Vice President, Commercial Lender at their Downtown Banking Center. Greg was born and raised in Amarillo, Texas, graduating from Amarillo High School in 1978. Greg attended Amarillo College and then graduated from Texas A&M University, obtaining a BBA degree in Accounting and Finance in 1982. He continued his post-graduate education by obtaining a Commercial Lending Diploma from the American Institute of Banking in 1988.
Mr. Graham will be responsible for the marketing, preparation, and servicing of loans to businesses and professionals.
Prior to joining FBSW, Graham was employed as a Commercial Lender at Happy State Bank for 5 years. Prior to that, he served for 26 years as the principal of a panhandle-based oil & gas production company. Greg started his banking career in 1983 as a Commercial Lender at The First National Bank of Amarillo.
Greg has an extensive history of serving the Amarillo/Panhandle community, including current service on the board of the Amarillo College Foundation. His past service includes serving on the boards of the Texas Panhandle Regional Development Corporation (President 2020-2021), the Amarillo Hospital District (Chairman 2011-2012), the Harrington Regional Medical Center, the Panhandle Producers and Royalty Owners Association (Chairman 2013-2015), and Family Support Services of Amarillo.
Greg has also been an active volunteer for several Amarillo based charities including the United Way Campaign (Loaned Executive, Account Executive, and Division Chair), and the Boy Scouts of America. Greg is a 1988 graduate of Leadership Amarillo.
