PAMPA, TX – FirstBank Southwest (“FBSW”) announces the upcoming retirement of Kim Hill, Pampa Market President, marking the close of an extraordinary 46-year career dedicated to community banking and service across the Texas Panhandle. Hill’s last day with the bank will be March 31, 2026.
Hill began her career on April 1, 1980, at First National Bank of Perryton, which would later evolve into what is now FirstBank Southwest. She steadily advanced through nearly every area of the bank, including bookkeeping, consumer and commercial lending, and mortgage services. She was named Pampa Market President in 2012, a role in which she led with a relationship-first approach that reflected the core values of FirstBank Southwest.
“Kim Hill’s career is truly a living history of FirstBank Southwest,” said Andy Marshall, FBSW President and CEO. “For more than four decades, Kim has shown up every day for our customers, our employees, and the Pampa community, and that consistency and care is what people will remember most.”
During Hill’s tenure, the bank continued to expand across the region and into major Texas markets, building on its longstanding Panhandle roots. Throughout decades of change and modernization, Hill played a key role in strengthening both the Pampa market and the bank’s culture.
“It has been a true blessing to be part of this bank and to serve our customers through so many important moments in their lives,” Hill said. “Helping people reach milestones and building lifelong relationships is what I will always treasure most.”
In addition to her banking career, Hill has been deeply involved in community service in Pampa and Gray County, serving in leadership roles with organizations including Pampa United Way, Pampa ISD booster organizations, Pampa Regional Medical Center, and the City of Pampa TIRZ Committee.
Following Hill’s retirement, Kevin Hunt, Senior Vice President and Commercial Lender, will assume leadership of the Pampa market.
A retirement reception honoring Hill will be held on March 26 from 3:00–6:00 p.m. at the FirstBank Southwest Pampa Branch. Community members, customers, and colleagues are invited to attend.
