PAMPA, TX – FirstBank Southwest (“FBSW”) is pleased to announce that Kevin Hunt has been named Pampa Market President, effective April 1, 2026. Hunt steps into the role following the leadership of Kim Hill, whose long‑standing dedication to FirstBank Southwest and the Pampa community has left a lasting impact on the bank and the people it serves.
Hunt joined FirstBank Southwest in 2023 as Senior Vice President, Commercial Lender, beginning his work at the Perryton Banking Center before later moving to the Pampa Banking Center, where he has continued to build strong relationships with customers and the community. With more than 27 years of banking experience, Hunt brings a steady, people‑first approach rooted in the values of community banking.
Prior to joining FBSW, Hunt served as Senior Vice President, Commercial Team Lead at FirstBank & Trust (formerly Aim Bank and National Bank of Commerce), Vice President at First National Bank of Borger, and Collections Analyst at Diamond Shamrock (Valero Energy).

Hunt is deeply involved in the Texas Panhandle and is widely respected for his civic and community leadership. His service includes the Gray County Appraisal District Board of Directors, Pampa Center Foundation (Clarendon College) Board of Directors, the City of Pampa Board of Adjustments, and the City of Pampa Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone (TIRZ) Committee, where he currently serves as Chairman. He is also well known throughout the region as the play‑by‑play voice of Pampa Harvester football for the Harvester Sports Network.
Reflecting on the transition, Kim Hill shared, “FirstBank Southwest — and the people of Pampa — have my whole heart. This bank has been more than a career for me; it’s been a family. Watching Kevin step into this role makes me incredibly proud, and it brings me comfort knowing the care, commitment, and community spirit that define FirstBank Southwest will continue in his hands.”
Kevin and his wife Shawna have been married for 20 years and have four children and a recently welcomed grandchild.
